The innocuous black-and-white Quick Response (QR) codes pervasive across retailers, airports, bars, hotels (and more) are the threat surfaces no one talks about. But attackers see them as the perfect Trojan Horse for hijacking phones and stealing digital identities.

  1. @fexd Um,If QR codes are only “seemingly harmless”, why were they deployed? Did they grow on trees? πŸŒβ€‹πŸ’β€‹Do we have a memory? Why, yes we do! How did the QR code inventors originally justify them? They said that the user will see the URL (with domain name) before they click “Go”. You know, its the HTTPS thing from the 1990s. Its still here! :awesome:​
