Cricut’s new compact crafter prints, cuts, and laminates stickers

Cricut announced its first crafting machines with printing capabilities that are primarily designed as all-in-one solutions for turning photos and other images into precut stickers. The Cricut StickerPix Print plus Cut and Cricut StickerPix Print are also two of the smallest machines in the company’s current lineup and seem ideal for those whose crafting aspirations may be limited by their available storage space.

Company That 3D-Prints Houses on Earth Lands Lunar Construction Contract

The raw material for the first such structure is already on the Moon: the surface layer of soil, or regolith (PDF(Opens in a new window)) to geologists. NASA’s plans for long-term exploration of the Moon and, eventually, Mars rely heavily on generating needed materials and supplies from what’s on the ground there—what it calls “In situ resource utilization(Opens in a new window)”—instead of shipping everything from Earth.
